  • I am an experienced 4WDer / I am a beginner 4WDer / I have never been on a 4WDing group tour before. Are your tours suitable for me?

Yes, yes, and yes, our guides are experienced in taking out 4WD owners across the entire spectrum of knowledge and experience. If you have never driven a 4WD before or if you have driven a 4WD for many years, our knowledgeable and friendly guides will enhance your knowledge and match your skills and interests.

Our guides are knowledgeable about topics far beyond 4WDing alone. They will inform and entertain on topics such as Indigenous heritage, history, botany, insects, reptiles... or whatever else someone may have as their personal passion.

  • What do I need to take with me on tour?

After you have booked a tour, we will send you a suggested 'what to bring' list specific to your tour location.

  • I love the look of a group tour, but the dates don’t suit me, can I organise it as a private tour?

100% yes. At Aussie 4WD Tagalong Tours, we enjoy providing private and individual-based itineraries for individuals, families and small groups of friends, or even school groups to make a tour that is exactly what you want to do and see. Often, we are asked to base a tour off an existing group tour itinerary at a starting point, with individual interests, destinations and wish lists incorporated. So, if the dates of the group tour don't suit you or you would prefer the freedom and flexibility of a private tour, please let us know and we can make some suggestions for your tour with pricing included.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

What are your terms and conditions?

A full version of the terms and conditions is emailed with every booking form for each tour. We offer a personalised service for our clients, who often make reservations with us well in advance. Cancellations with short notice (of even 2 months or more) are sometimes hard to re-book because of the long lead time most clients require to secure reservations.

In addition, considerable time and expense is incurred to Aussie 4WD Tagalong Tours when designing, liaising, booking and altering tours and if cancellations are required there are further administration expenses when cancelling these arrangements. Therefore, cancellation fees will be in place for all cancellations.

We strongly recommend that you consider the option of travel insurance immediately after booking your trip, to cover you for any financial losses incurred for cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

a.) Deposit and payment

  • A deposit of 20% of the tour cost is due at the time of booking. This, along with a completed booking form, will secure your place on the tour.
  • Full payment of the balance is due by 90 days before the tour start date.
  • Payment is accepted in Australian dollars ($AUD).

b.) Cancellations

  • Cancellation after the deposit is paid incurs loss of the full deposit. If, however, we are able to fill your place on the tour, and we are able to recoup deposit funds paid to accommodation and other service providers, we may be in a position to reallocate some of your deposit to another tour booking if you so wish. Such requests are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
  • Cancellations between 90-46 days prior to departure incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellations between 45 days or less prior to departure incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour cost (i.e., no refund).
  • If Aussie 4WD Tagalong Tours Nature Tours has to cancel a group tour as a result of under-subscription, then Aussie 4WD Tagalong Tours will refund you all payments made to Aussie 4WD Tagalong Tours by you for that tour. Or transfer you to another tour suitable to you without penalty.
  • We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance when booking your trip to cover you for any financial losses incurred as a result of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • COVID is no longer an unforeseen circumstance, and only health directives for isolation restrictions put in place without warning immediately before the tour dates will be considered for cancellation fee reduction.
